Mountain Update!!

We are having a recent touch of Spring with temperatures in the 40’s on the mountain and in the middle 50’s on the Vally floor. Thankfully a great rain arrived here on the 13th with storm totals near 1.2″ We are expecting another … Pacific storm to bring heavy rain to the coast tonight with moderate to heavy rain spreading inland on Sunday. Total rainfall from this storm from late tonight through Sunday night ranges from 3 to 4 inches in western Josephine County and 2 to 3 inches in northeastern Jackson County. RIGHT ON!!

Rivers and small streams in southwest Oregon are expected to rise significantly Sunday and Monday…all great news for the Winter Steelhead runs and the re-charging of our drinking water springs in camp. With wet conditions the dining hall building project remains in limbo……but it will be done by May!!

Enjoy the Full Moon on the 19th-
